Well, the weather held out again to make a fantastic day for the run. The annual charity motorcycle ride-out that just keeps getting bigger and bigger. This was the 31st year and in all, I have missed four. The first one had about 40 bikes and as I was too young to ride, I was a passenger. Today had in excess of 11,000 bikes and an estimate of £30,000 raised for local charities. The route was about 20 miles and went from the seaside town of New Brighton to Clatterbridge Hospital.
