COLONIAL VIPER MOEBIUS KIT.

Hey kids. Kicked off this great kit. The new VIPER from cool model company Moebius. Easy to put together with a clever way of hiding the seams, thus keeping filling to a minimum. Assembled then final primer pictures. I am using Vauxhall Haze Blue heavily weathered down to give a great used look.

She is finished. Next up: MARK VII VIPER.

BSG-75 UPDATE.

Hey kids..............this is nearly finished now. Just a bit of weathering on the motors and the decals. Got to fit the cannons and finish the stand. A couple of pics.

MIKE WALLACE' "ETERNAL PATROL"

Author Mike Wallace approached me a short while ago with an exciting project. He saw my model of the REVELL 1/72nd Gato U.S. submarine on this blog. He asked me to submit his publishers a few shots and they chose an action shot for the cover. The book is out this month and they made a great job with the water effects added to the model that was just held up against a pale sky. Thanks to Mike Wallace for chosing my work for his book.

After L.A. I drove to Vegas. Weather was not up to it's usual mad self, but still a nice break.

Here she is a bit nearer completion. The underside and the motors are just to be done now. As usual any omments are welcome.

WEATHERING THE BSG-75. BATTLESTAR GALACTICA.

This is a strange model. It's supposed to be something like half a mile long. So when they bring out a model that is such a small scale, you have to do it right or the thing starts to look like a toy. Cleaned, prepared and assembled. Laid down the ever-faithful HALFORDS grey primer then hit it with Moondust Silver. Weathered with M.I.G pastels and sealed with Humbrol matt varnish. Some pictures of the progress so far.

BSG-75 BATTLESTAR GALACTICA

Kicking off this Moebius BATTLESTAR model. Really easy to put together. hardly any clean up from this high-quality kit. About 13 inches long and this is up for sale when complete. It will be studio accurate but not lighted.

RANGER-3 BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY **FINISHED**

This fantastic model of Buck's ship is finally finished and here are some pictures of it. They are taken inside because the weather around these parts has been utterly pooh lately. Enjoy.

RANGER-3 APPLYING DECALS.

Started puting these on last night. Very hard with all the crazy stripes. Also the manufacturer has made a large mistake and made the Stars And Stripes in mirror image and looks a bit odd. Anyway here are a couple of quick pics to keep the Buck Rogers fans happy and when finished I will post some studio pictures.
