A WEEK IN LOS ANGELES.

We recently had to go to Los Angeles for a week. A bit of work and a bit of holiday. If you have never been, it's not like in the movies....it's worse....(joke). It's a great place to be, great standard of living, perfect weather all year round. No trouble and the people are very polite and friendly. My word of advice to anyone travelling there......AVOID the tacky tourist bullshit that goes with the place and see the real L.A. Drive the coast, go north towards San Francisco and see the real California.

THE GENERAL LEE IN BURBANK, CALIFORNIA,

The famed "Dukes Of Hazzard" 1969 Dodge CHARGER in all his glory was at Bob's Big Boy Drive -in in Burbank a few weeks ago. We were the to see how cool that car actually is.
A few shots and an amazing day.

SATURDAY ON THE HAYABUSA

My very dear friends Tad and Anna had a visit on Saturday. He has been promised a ride out on the bike for months. Well that day came and Southport for an ice cream was of course top of the list.

Here are Tad and Anna having a sit on the SUZUKI flagship ride GSX1300R, the fastest production motorcycle in the world.

BATMOBILE.

Hey kids, now the system seems to be playing ball again, here's some shots of the BATMOBILE

1966 version from TV. I made a few calls while in Los Angeles to see if we could have a private viewing. Everything was set up and there she was in all her glory. Thanks to BARRIS KUSTOMS for a wonderful hour.

USAF MUSEUM, DAYTON, OHIO.

We had a whole day here and to say it was a big place is a complete understatement. So many one-off planes it was amazing. We drove from WONDERFEST in Kentucky and it was about 250 miles. We got there when it opened and signed up for the X-Planes R & D Hangar over the far side of the base. What an experience.

Here's a few shots of the day.

LACK OF PICTURES...............

Well things have turned sour. I have over 300 pictures of my recent trip to WONDERFEST 2011, USAF Museum in Dayton, Ohio, Las Vegas and Los Angeles for a week each. Sadly for some reason I click on the image attachment and nothing.............. It all worked fine until I came back, so stick with it until I can sort out the problem.
